Artist Statement
“I create mixed media work to tell a story of whimsy, beauty, and creation. Secret gardens have always fascinated me and I work to draw my viewers into a place to escape through clay, copper, glass, and found objects. Many of my pieces are weeks worth of creation, as each layer builds upon the next, but the detail really stands out in my work. I try to convey my sense of a beautiful place through the many materials I use.”

Background & Bio
While I studied psychology in college, it’s definitely creating art that feeds my soul. My award-winning work has been collected through juried art shows around the United States and overseas for over twelve years. It has enabled me to connect with my collectors on a very personal level, and I can’t imagine any other life or profession, it is truly my calling.
