Scam Alert: Gift Card and Payment Solicitation Impersonation
PACT has been notified of fraudulent messages using the names of PACT members to solicit gift cards or payments from businesses and community partners. These messages are not from PACT.
PACT Policy (Important)
- PACT and its members do not request gift cards, gift card codes, wire transfers, or payments via email, text message, or social media direct message.
- If you receive a request like this, do not reply, do not purchase gift cards, and do not share any codes.
How to Verify a Legitimate PACT Request
If you are unsure whether a message is legitimate:
- Do not respond to the message you received.
- Use this page to submit a verification request to PACT.
- If the request is legitimate, PACT will confirm it using an official reply.

- Save any relevant information (sender name/handle, email address, phone number, screenshots).
